FileMaker Retail Product Information

FileMaker Maintenance is not available for retail product.

Retail product cannot be used to upgrade volume licensing.

Bento

The Bento Family Pack Software License Agreement allows you to install and use one copy of the Bento software on up to a

maximum of five (5) Apple-labeled computers at a time as long as those computers are located in the same household and used

by persons who occupy that same household. By “household” we mean a person or persons sharing the same housing unit

such as a home, apartment, mobile home or condominium. This license does not extend to students who reside at a separate

on-campus location or to business or commercial users. You may not make the Software available over a network.

list.

FileMaker Licensing Information

Electronic License Delivery - ELD/ESD

All FileMaker licensing is delivered via electronic download. (separate media purchases are not required) The customer will

receive an email with the following:

A link to a web page which contains their FileMaker contract number, license key codes and software download instructions.

Customers are encouraged to print a copy of this page for their records.

Customers can also purchase physical media for $20 SLP each; the skus are listed on the MEDIA_TECH SUPPORT tab. The

number of media sets ordered cannot exceed the number of seats for which you are licensed. These additional media sets do

not count towards determining tier levels.

Volume License Agreement (VLA), Education/Non-Profit Volume License Agreement (ENPVLA)

The minimum initial order for a VLA/ENPVLA is 5 seats of software licenses. Customers can mix & match any FileMaker

software products, as well as new and upgrade seats to reach the minimum volume requirement for each tier. Maintenance

does not apply towards the 5 seat minimum.

One year of Maintenance is automatically included with all licensing purchases of FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Pro Advanced,

FileMaker Server and FileMaker Server Advanced.

Only FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Pro Upgrade and FileMaker Pro Maintenance are available on a per-seat, multi-tier pricing

discount structure.

To add-on new or upgrade FileMaker products to an existing license agreement, customers must have a FileMaker 9 or newer

VLA (effective 9/24/10, customers must have v9 or newer). There is no minimum purchase quantity required for add-on products

and they count towards the FileMaker Pro minimum volume requirements for each tier. The current VLA number must

accompany the order if the total number of units is less than 5.

Maintenance for VLA and ENPVLA

FileMaker Maintenance assures that customers will automatically get the latest FileMaker upgrades released throughout the

period of their FileMaker Maintenance agreement. (FileMaker Maintenance does not include Technical Support)

VLA/ENPVLA Maintenance customers must renew their Maintenance prior to its expiration to take advantage of the "Renewal"

Maintenance price. Once renewed, the new Maintenance expiration date will be one or two years from the original Maintenance

renewal expiration date (depending on the renewal SKU ordered).

Once the Maintenance expires, an "Expired" Maintenance price is available for VLA/ENPVLA customers who want to reinstate

their expired Maintenance contract. The new Maintenance expiration date will be set to one or two years from the date of the

Expired Maintenance order (depending on the Maintenance SKU's ordered).

If a customer's Maintenance expires and FileMaker announces the availability of an upgrade, the customer is no longer eligible

for the Expired Maintenance price. The customer must purchase the product upgrade or (if they don't qualify for the upgrade

version) new licenses.
